Sewing/Quilting Saturday

Location: SCBC room 1

Join us on Saturday, November 9 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for “Block Building” Sewing Saturday. We will be meeting in room 1 for an intimate time to get to know each other better as we sew. This will be a fast-paced morning of sewing together pre-cut blocks and strips to create quilt tops for our quilts to donate to Hope and a Future for the foster care children they serve! Let’s see how many we can complete by December, in time for Christmas!

Registration is required to reserve sewing machine space! Please bring your own lunch, basic sewing supplies, and a mat/ rotary cutter if you have them. If you are skilled in using a mat and rotary cutter and would like to help out by pre-cutting blocks, please contact Angie Collettt for a bag of fabric! If you enjoy working at home, you may also request fabric to create your own blocks/quilt tops.
